What is Yoga?
Yoga is an ancient practice that originated in India and has been around for over 5000 years. There are many benefits to Yoga including improved muscular strength, flexibility and stress reduction. Class is formatted to accommodate all level - beginners to advance.
When?
Monday Night Class 6:30 - 7:30 pm Class runs April 7th - May 5th
Wednesday Night Class 6:30 - 7:30 pm Class runs April 9th - May 7th
Cost
YMCA Members: $20.00
Non-members: $30.00
Sign-up at the Martinsville YMCA Branch or call (276) 632-6427. Late joiner will be pro-rated. No refunds for classes missed. *Martinsville Aerobic punch cards are not honored for these Yoga classes. However, Health Club members may take classes at no additional charge.
What Will I Need?
It is suggested, but not required that you bring the following:
Water Bottle
Yoga Mat *
Towel
Straps and/or block **
* YOGA mats are available for your use or you may purchase your own at the YMCA front desk for $16.00 each.
** Straps are also available for your use.
