The YMCA Early Learning Center provides full day preschool care with excellence and commitment to education and quality childcare. The goal of the program is to provide safe, dependable, quality child care and to enhance the development of each child through developmentally appropriate curriculum.
The Early Learning Center offers care for children ages 2-5 at the Collinsville YMCA, located on John Redd Blvd. The program has 3 classrooms, (2-3 year old class, 3-4 year old class and 4-5 year old class) an air conditioned gym, playground, ball field, and an outdoor pool during the summer months. The program serves a hot breakfast, hot lunch and an afternoon snack daily (included in weekly fee).
The program operates year round, Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m.-6:00p.m. The cost for this program is as follows:
- $40.00 registration fee (due annually)
- $90.00 weekly for 2 year olds
- $85.00 weekly for 3 year olds
- $85.00 weekly for 4 year olds
*Financial assistance is available for those that qualify*
We place an emphasis on the development of the whole child. Teachers use the Creative Curriculum to focus on language development and age appropriate academics in a relaxed yet structured environment. The following are just a few examples of what is offered at the YMCA Early Learning Center:

To Enroll Your Child for The YMCA Early Learning Center:
1) Schedule an appointment with Lisa Hodge, Collinsville YMCA Child Care Director. You must provide all necessary information at this meeting in order for your child to start participating in the program. Once all necessary information is provided and the registration process is complete your child will be eligible to begin the program
2) Complete the Registration Form. Every line must be filled in or marked “N/A” for Not Applicable
3) Complete the USDA Form (Income Eligibility Statement) required by USDA
4) Pay the $40.00 Registration/Supply Fee
5) At the time of registration you must provide a copy of your child’s current immunization record, signed by a physician or Health Department official, a copy of the most recent physical exam and a copy of your child’s Legal Birth Certificate.
