YMCA Summer Fun Camp

Locations: Our summer day camp will be held at two locations - Collinsville YMCA and Martinsville YMCA.

Days: Monday through Friday

Time: 6:15 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Cost: $77.50 per week per child and a $20.00 registration fee

Ages: 5 through 12

Facilities: Both sites are licensed by the Department of Social Services. Collinsville- Air conditioned gym, 2 large classrooms, playground, ballfield, and outdoor pool. Martinsville- Air conditioned gym, indoor pool, large classroom, and City Park.

Insurance: Limited accident insurance provided.

Food: The YMCA will provide a morning and afternoon snack as well as lunch.

Activities: Recreational Swimming; Arts & Crafts; Nature Study; Group Games; Field Trips; Sports; Guest Speakers; Trips to the Library; Free Choice Activities; and Theme Weeks.

Basketball League and Fundamental Camp

Camp is designed to teach future basketball players the skills that will need for high school, middle school, or recreational teams. Great for first year players and parents interested in coaching. Only serious parents and athletes should attend this camp because it requires a great deal of attention and ability to pick up on instructions.

Athletic Youth Fitness Enhancement Camp (AYFEC)

Ages 11-15 (boys and girls). Course will familiarize youth with strength training, isometrics, stretching, cardio, and nutrition. The camp will emphasize general fitness and sport specific exercises. Physical and waiver will be required upon registration.

Easter Holiday Fun Camp

Daily program of supervised activities for children in grades k-5 (ages 5-12). Children need a bag lunch a favorite toy or board game, a swimsuit and a towel if attending the Martinsville and Collinsville YMCAs during the Easter Holidays. Camp is held from 6:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. cost is $15.00 per day. A minimum of 15 full-time children per day is needed to have each camp.

Christmas Holiday Fun Camp

Daily program of supervised activities for children in grades K-6. Children need a bag lunch, a favorite toy or board game, and a smile! This program will occur during the Christmas break for City Schools at the Martinsville YMCA and for county schools at the Collinsville YMCA. If children attend the Martinsville camp they will need a swimsuit and a towel. A minimum of 18 children are needed to have camp. You may register at the YMCA or after school sites with the purchase of a punch card.
